SCHOOL TRUMPS ART

No, but seriously guys, I'm taking a bunch of classes that are kinda important (ie: i need them to graduate) so I've been frantically trying to add some art into my life while memorizing philosophical theories (Check out Epicurean, he's the shit). The life of a student is intense, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm working on some new projects and trying to branch out into some different styles, like clay for example (FYI: VERY MESSY, AVOID BLACK CLOTHING). But my fav part about all of this is how  people have told me how much my paintings have inspired them to incorporate some art into their own lives. And like, that's what art is all about right? Being able to love what you do and maybe open people's eyes to parts of themselves they didn't know existed. What more could I want?

I wont be blogging like this any time soon, and I don't have any followers anyways, so to the 10 or so people (ie: my mom) who are reading this: Thanks!

Remember Non-existent readers:
art is everywhere and everyone is an artist, from the corrupt politician to the little kid playing in the mud. As long as you live life with passion, heartache and nose bleeds, you are an artist. I'll leave you with that bit of corniness and some cooler words by Buddha:
"Meditate. Live purely. Be quiet. Do your work with mastery. Like the moon, come out from behind the clouds! Shine."

You said it, Bud.

  2. You have an amazing talent Sarah and I love looking at your paintings and sculptures...Keep it up! Expressing yourself through art is not only original but also a way of indirectly reaching out to others. It's more than just a random painting on a wall, art has a voice and tells stories which speak to many, and trust that everyone can relate to at least one of your beautiful stories whether they realize it or not.
Kudos to you! This is just the begining for you as an inspirational author of many great stories told and to be told. The best is yet to come and I am very proud of you Sarah.
    Lots of love,
